Gimmicks Restaurant at 208 Ridge Avenue, Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.

The service was surprisingly great with how overloaded the waitstaff was. But the food was very piss poor. The portions were small for the prices. Wich would have been fine if it were actually home cooking like I saw one of the reviews on here say. But instead I was given a small blob of CANNED corned beef hash and three bites of flavorless unseasoned "home fries." And i mean completely unseasoned not under seasoned. Where I come from corned beef comes shredded off a brisket, and is cooked with fresh crisply fried potatoes with seasoning on them. My wife got an omelet with (once again) CANNED gravy. Absolutely gross. We ate everything as to not be rude to, or ruin the servers day. The eggs were actually adequate on my plate and in her omelet. So the cook is obviously competent. I blame the bad food on whomever designed the menu recipes and orders products. They should be ashamed of themselves.
